Well, haven't had a lot of feedback about activities for the DandB Rally. As in past years we like to continue the rally as very laid back, without a great deal of scheduling. The DandB rally was intended as an opportunity to fellowship with other airstreamers while seeing parts of our beautiful state.

Here are a few thoughts....
Friday: Arrival and a late dinner for those setting up in the dark. We (63Silver and 94tri) will have dinner waiting for everyone at 6:00 on site 175! Afterwards, How about a nice fire and some cocktails to round out the nite.

Saturday: Spend the day at the Horse Park or Keeneland or Lexington or Georgetown or whatever you like. There is a beautiful park, lawns and a nice playground for the kids. Perfect place for kite flying. We will potluck Saturday afternoon at 6:00, location to be announced. After dark we will have movies for the children and another fire for the adults.

Sunday: In honor of Gregg and Cindy (who we will miss) we will have breakfast ready Sunday morning at 9:00am. Pancakes, sausage and bacon!

Please offer suggestions!

Sounds great...thank you for offering the arrival dinner! I'll bring some baked goods for dessert. I'm all in for the potluck, easy schedule, sights to see, meeting everyone, and am more than willing to help with the pancake breakfast or anything else. Just give me a job to do and I'll "git-r-done!"

I'm so excited...I'm new to RVing and Airstreams...and I just ordered my Airstream custom flag pole that holds five flags. FIVE !! Now I have to figure out what flags I want to fly. U.S. of course, U.S. Marines for sure, John Deere, and now I have to figure on two more options. You'll see what I come up with!

Thanks again, Kelly in Mid-Michigan

Nice try. Not happening, my friend. Gotta fly the Michigan State Spartan flag that says "Sparty On" if I'm going all college on ya.

Mellen, I understand. Any chance you could post a picture of your flag holder?

Here's the listing...their pictures really stink but they ship quick and I'm extremely satisfied with the fit and quality. You have to tell them if your jack is automatic.

Airstream 5-Pole Flag Pole Holder | eBay

So....did any of us win the Mega-Millions ??? !!! ???

I had a Tiffany diamond studded dog collar all picked out for my dog, a 747 standing by for that trip to Rome, and just placed a call to Donald Trump to see if he wanted to sell a casino...all for nothing.

Food or Help

63silver,
Is there anything I can assist you with for this rally?
I assume we are having a potluck dinner on Saturday night. Should we bring dish in particular? We were thinking about a big pot of ham/bean soup. Did I understand you right that you were providing some food for Friday night? Do you want us to bring something food wise or donation? Firewood?

SB

We will provide dinner Friday night so those arriving Friday afternoon will not have to worry about cooking. Don't expect anything too great as we plan to just keep it simple. We will have a pot luck Saturday night so feel free to bring anything you like. We will also plan for a hardy breakfast Sunday morning. If anyone want to bing coffee, orange juice, syrup, etc. that would be great.
