So I just told them it's a 20ft RV and booked the site. Arriving January 2nd, departing January 9th.

It's not chili, but would anyone mind if I bring my chicken, sausage, and bacon jambalaya to the Chili Feed? I'm not much of a cook, so when I find a dish that I can do well— like my jambalaya— I tend to stick with it. Or I could bring plain rice for people to ladle their chili over. Either way (but not both ways).
It's been a long time! It will be good to visit at the rally.

Looking forward to it.

But we might see each other sooner if you're attending either the Louisiana Airstream Club's Christmas Rally next week or the Fireworks on the River Rally for New Year's. I spent way too long not camping when I was recovering from various surgeries, and I have to make up for lost time! Medical science keeps putting me back together ALMOST as fast as I fall apart!

I called the park and spoke to a ranger. She said the 20' had to include the camper AND tow vehicle. Maybe she was wrong, but I didn't push it.
She said the 25' spot would not accommodate a 26' and a TV.
I went to Google Earth to try and look at more than the park map, and couldn't reconcile the overhead view with the park map.
I'm only the messenger.
However, possession is 9/10ths of the law so have fun!

I had a friend who parked in that spot last year and it was plenty long enough for their class B and their small electric car. If my memory is correct the site is not level front to back.

I'm not worried. Site 20, second from the bathhouse on Pampas Grass Blvd, is heavily shaded, but the Google Maps satellite view leads me to believe that my Interstate will fit, even if I have to park my toad in the overflow parking at the end of the loop.

I made a point of checking the satellite view before booking the site. The heavy tree cover is a plus for me, since last time I was there I had no shade at all other than what my awning provided. I like shade, even in winter!

I believe (according to the map) the tent only sites are numbered starting with a T, such as T02, T20, etc.
