This will be an all-evening event, but you are free to join, come and go as you wish. So check out the schedule and join us for a fun evening!!

4:30 - Sunset Toast and Photo Op Location –Tram pickup TBA
The Fantastic Friends of Topsail will provide a tram ride to the beach for a sunset toast and photo op. The friends will provide an all ages beverage for toasting.

6:00 - Appetizers Location – Site 003
Laurie and Pat will be providing some tasty tidbits to get our night started. Bring your own beverage, and chairs if you’d like.

7:30 Dinner Location – Site 140
Pat and Patty are our hosts for a mouthwatering BBQ dinner. At this stop you will need your own setups(plates, utensils, etc), chairs and beverage of choice.

9:00 Dessert #1 Location – Site 127
Tom and Vicki will have a fire going, and fixings for gourmet S’Mores, and campfire cones.
Feel free to bring your own beverage and chair, if desired.

10:00 Dessert/snack #2 Location – TBA Still looking for a host this site!!
We’re still looking for host and ideas for this stop - desserts/snacks?? The need for munchies might be setting in, or maybe we just need to keep moving so we can make it til midnight!!

11:15 Ring in the New Year Location – site 141
Don and Jackie will have Bubbly, party favors, finger munchies, and a TV outside so we can watch the ball drop .

Every year the "Friends of Topsail", a group of volunteers who help out at the park, sponsor a Breakfast with the Ranger which is really popular with our group of Canopenians. In the past, we had to limit attendance to around 80 of us. This year the park is offering us 2 seatings of 54. The first starts at 8:45am and the second starts at 9:30am Saturday morning before the hike. Not only can more of us get a great Pancake breakfast, but the lines and seating will be a lot better!

This is a great way to meet new folks and hear a little more about the park from the ranger. The breakfast is free but donations are always gladly accepted.

Schedule- never for Canopener! We like to use the Pirate Code......because it's more of a guideline aaaarrrrrggghhhh

Breakfast with the Ranger



Every year the "Friends of Topsail", a group of volunteers who help out at the park, sponsor a Breakfast with the Ranger which is really popular with our group of Canopenians. In the past, we had to limit attendance to around 80 of us. This year the park is offering us 2 seatings of 54. The first starts at 8:45am and the second starts at 9:30am Saturday morning before the hike. Not only can more of us get a great Pancake breakfast, but the lines and seating will be a lot better!

This is a great way to meet new folks and hear a little more about the park from the ranger. The breakfast is free but donations are always gladly accepted.
