Red -
So...guess we will leave the Pearl Beer at home. Will have to bring you some Diamond Bear, a local brew from here in Little Rock. What's your pleasure, Pale Ale, Paradise Porter, Dogtown Brown, or Presidential IPA? My favorite is their Oatmeal Stout, but they don't always have that.
Annette definitely is getting a bottle of vino for saving our first Canopener! Will likely be the first outing for our yet to be named Stream (due out of production late Nov).

Oooooh, a choice of craft beer previously unavailable to me? Sweet mother of all things brewed! I'm a Pale Ale or IPA kind of guy... Usually the hopsier the better! Hopsier? Is that a word?
I'll see if I can get my bud at work to brew us up something special while we're at it. He's been kegging everything for the past year, but I can probably get him to bring his bottler out of retirement... He's made a couple fantastic beers, and a few not so fantastics... It's like beer roulette, and we're playing!
This could get interesting as regional beers collide...
-Red, wanting a beer now... Dang it...

Annette, in the game of Beer Roulette, you don't want to play with that large of a caliber...
-Red, spinnin' the cylinder, takin' his chances...

Okay, Red, gotcha covered. Pale Ale and IPA it is. Diamond Bear sometimes has "Two Term Presidential IPA," a twice brewed 9.2% awesome brew; two Two Terms can render one, shall we say, impaired. First encounter with this brew was 45 miles into a 50 mile bike ride; dropped by the brewpub (first adventure there) and liked the first one so much I had another. Weaved the last five miles and required DW to pilot us home. Soooo...the lesson there may be that one can be a cheaper drunk if one exercises a lot before imbibing!

I suggest you check Reserve America at least once a day, especially when January gets closer. There are people (Canopians and Some Other Brand) who cancel. You might get lucky....

Ditto, there are always last minute cancellations. Makes it hard for Red to keep up his comprehensive maps as people start moving their spots around.

It's looking likely they we aren't going to be sending our motorhome "south for the winter", so will not be able to attend and will have to cancel our reservation (Site: 019, Thu Jan 07 2016 - Mon Jan 11 2016 (4 nights)).
Plan to make a final decision this weekend....

Sorry to hear that you will not be able to attend the Canopener
I really wanted to see your 20' Argosy.
Right now, we are planning on bringing our '75 Argosy 20' MH..... and maybe we will be towing something behind it!

Canceling Reservations
Hello Fellow CanOpenians,
As much as we don't want anyone having to cancel their reservations for CanOpener 2016, life does indeed happen! That being said, for those with sites reserved and find you'll be canceling your reservation, I would ask if you would please post it in this thread PRIOR to canceling with Reserve America. That will give those seeking a reservation a better chance at grabbing up the site and keeping this an ALL ALUMINUM ALL THE TIME park!
Thanks in advance for your consideration,
Annette

FYI, you cannot sell your reservations. You have to call and cancel or go on line and cancel. I have heard of people calling on a conference call and getting the site transferred directly.
