Boot camp to learn about maintenance issues

Happy Thanksgiving fellow Airstreamers!
Any advice on the best hands-on venue to learn how to do maintenance work on the Airstream, to include winterizing/de-winterizing? I've watched a ton of you-tube videos, but each model can be slightly unique often leaving me with even more questions. Are there any rallies or boot camp type opportunities that focus on learning such skills in person with experienced folks to provide guidance and answer questions?

No, but here are some thoughts. As has been said many times you need to buy Rich Luhr's Guide to Complete Airstream Maintenance. When you have an issue occur, start with that, then augment with YouTube for pics and advice. The problem with YouTube is that not everyone who posts is an expert.
Any boot camp, in my opinion, would be like drinking out of a firehose and you would would forget a lot before you need it.
Every club has members who are experts/have experience in one or more skills with these trailers. Seek them out.
Then you just have to jump in.

Watch for our Colorado Airstream Club spring maintenance rally in 2021 (if we can have it) and come on over (if you can).

Much appreciated. I do have a copy of Rich Luhr's Guide to Complete Airstream Maintenance - great book and the first place I go to for good info. However, for some things, it's like trying to learn surgery by reading a book. I'm sure next year will be better - most rallies this year in the PNW were cancelled so meeting folks and finding experts has been difficult. But, yes, good advice and it is definitely something I'll continue to pursue for 2021.

Thanks, Dan and Liz! I'll keep an eye out for that opportunity in Colorado. Fingers crossed!
