The details are, there are no details. I think common courtesy tells us to notify that you wish to attend ( you have done that ). There is no up front cost. Upon arrival you will be assisted to park at your site. You then settle with the campground office for your stay. The rally folks will have a table for a small rally fee and YOU'RE IN. Also common courtesy tells us to let them know if your plans change when we get closer and need to cancel. I do think that beyond a certain # of hook-up sites some will be dry camping so come prepared just in case. These are my observations from last year.

Any details we post here will also be printed and you will receive a copy upon arrival. You will get a complete schedule and all the good stuff.

And speaking of your arrival....

....posting here let's us know you are coming so we can make plans accordingly. If your plans change and you cannot join us please let us know, an accurate head count is crucial. No money is paid up front to the Rally or the Cove, you simply pay upon arrival.

Parking at the Cove is $25/night with full hook up, there will be a discount for dry camping. Still working on that detail. Please sit tight.

The modest Rally fee will as always be a bargain. We are not out for profit, only out for fun. Any fee simply covers the rally costs. Primarily food.

Those that have been with us before, we are so glad to have you back. You are proof that we must be doing something right.

Those of you that will be first timers, you are even bigger proof that we must be doing something right. We are especially glad to have you with us. You will be among friends will feel right at home.

Everyone.....come prepared to enjoy the area, each other, and the entire weekend festivities. We have lots of good stuff planned.

And don't forget that the youngsters are more than welcome, so please bring them with you.. Typically we have a large crowd of of the next generation of Airstreamers that come each year, meet their friends, and renew their friendships just like the rest of us do. AND, it's Halloween weekend.

Ironic...the Palmetto Cove was originally built and owned by the Palmetto Unit of the Wally Byam Airstream Club as an Airstream only park back in the 70's.

Not sure of the exact timeline but after a number of years it could not sustain itself and so formed a corporation, sold shares, and is now a member owned, not for profit park, staffed by member volunteers, and open to all brands.

It is a wonderful facility and makes a great base camp from which to explore the area.
