Nice work Chuck.
Looks like I am flanked by 2 SOB's. I know they can't beat us, so hope they will join us.

Only 11 sites remaining
A check tonight on the park website shows only 11 sites left. Hopefully they will be picked up by our Airstream buds. And hopefully some of the black trailers on Chuck's map will turn to silver as before.
Plans are in the works for another fine time.
I'm thinking along with our almost famous possum bog, this time we also offer Possum on the Half Shell, courtesy of Al and Missy from Fla.
Henry, can you and Ronnie figure out how best to fix it??

...how best to fix it?
Maybe Texas style? Just leave it in the hot sun on asphalt for awhile, then rub on an ancho chile base with a mellow paprika undertone.

Correction for Wateree - Jack B is on 36, not 39.
How do you get to this site without going thru the Spring edition?? Forums seems to always pull-up the 1000+ comments before I can get to this! Not too smart here on the puter.

Hey Kathy, puter challenged here also.
Click on the thread tool tab here on the page, then click subscribe. That should hook you up.To go straight to the thread use your CP, click "Subscribed Threads", it will show it as well as as others you are subscribed to.
There may be better ways, but I don't know how either.
And thanks for the clarification on Jack.

John, our group is gathering in the bullpen at the Ag Center at 1:00. If you'd like to join us there so we can park together, be there!

Gang,
Have a safe trip to R3 and let them know Alumalina is doing great.
Got a favor to ask of the Possum Bog crew, can I get the recipe for the last batch? Need to make a smaller family sized version.
Safe travels to R3.
Gary

Gary, the recipe is top secret, kept locked in a vault, takes 2 keys to unlock it.. Four people know parts of the recipe, no one person knows it all.
Without a doubt, March's bog was the best ever, engineered by Ronnie B and Capt Hank.
I have the formula and will send it out tomorrow.

Hey Gary, here is the recipe Henry and Ronnie put together at the March gathering. Definately the best ever. You can figure out the amounts, this one fed a hundred or so folks. There was 1 scoop left in the pot at the end.
20 lbs chicken. We used boneless thighs and breasts. Possum works too.
14 smoked sausages
5 lbs onions, carrots, celery
6 lbs Jimmy Dean hot sausage, cooked before adding to the pot
4 sticks butter
7 lbs of Uncle Bens rice
3 cups water to 1 cup rice
caramelize onions in oil before adding to water
boil water 2 hours before adding rice
plenty of salt and pepper
3 chicken bullion cubes
Have fun, it's a great backyard feast.

That's one big a camping family, need a puter to divide it to family size. I'll figure it out.
Thanks
