There would be room on my site, Deb, if they will let you share....which I think they will, if I remember correctly.

You're welcome to my empty space, if you like.

Maggie,

That is so nice of you! I don't know how that works, tho -- do you not need your pad?

I'm not absolutely certain we can make it, I haven't talked with Frank about it yet. I was supposed to have gall bladder surgery next Thursday, but heard this morning that my EKG had a small nick in it and my family doctor won't release me for surgery until I see the Cardiologist (which I already had scheduled for the following week). So, since my DH had vacation planned, and it's looking as tho I'm not having surgery until it gets rescheduled, we did discuss going camping, but we didn't know where to go. That's when I started looking to see when Alumalina will be.

I'll get back with you after I've had a chance to talk with Frank, and I suppose after the surgeon's office calls me back.

Thanks again!

Deb

I do need my pad, I just don't need much of it.

22', and not towing.

I believe they will allow two vehicles on a site, but I would call the park to be sure. Your trailer and my Interstate? Might have to park your vehicle somewhere else, or sleep in it/a tent and use the public facilities, which I am near.

Call them and ask, is my suggestion. John probably knows, too.

I know that last spring they were pretty flexible, people were pitching tents and sleeping in campers, etc., minus a formal spot.....just to accommodate the rally. We had someone planning to share ours.....

Not anticipating needing AC, should be adequate electricity for both of us.

If it's okay with the park, it is fine with me.

Thanks, Maggie -- I'll check with Frank and will let you know.

It looks like there's going to be a really good turnout for it, I hope we don't miss it!

Thank you Chuck, the real credit goes to the writer and the photographer. Both real pros. We are very pleased with what he wrote....all accurate, and straight from the heart. He nailed it.

I must say it has caused quite a stir here in our little shop.

Rally?? What rally??

Thanks Maggie,

When I don't sleep well at night, it isn't because I didn't try hard that day, or because we cheated someone.

When you boil it all down, all we got in this 'ole word is each other.

Projected highs next week/weekend are in the mid-to-upper 70's.

Perfect.

Uhm, let me guess, boiled all down, involves Sandlapper, rally coming up.

I got it, I got it!

POSSUM BOG

Really folks John doesn't make that stuff. He has little green men in the shed outside the shop and at night they come in and make the stuff kinda like elves and then John grins and gets the credit.

I'm just a bit jealous of his and the skills passed down to the Leake sawdust makers.

Nice job guys.

Started packing the truck today, put the heavy stuff in and save room for Linda.

We are right at 22' also. If Maggie wants to share with us (we're nearer the facilities because we don't have running water in our truck), that would leave a space open for someone else if needed.

Maggie,

We thank you kindly, but we've decided that perhaps this isn't a good time for us to be so far away from home (considering some health issues). Perhaps another year we'll be able to make it.

We'll be thinking of everyone and knowing you all are enjoying yourselves!
