2016 NorCal Spring Rally, Casini Ranch, April 8-10

Hi all, I've launched the Spring rally thread for our annual Spring rally at Casini Ranch.

The official dates are April 8-10, 2016

Casini Ranch campground is nestled among beautiful hills resting on a gentle meander along the Russian River just minutes from the Pacific Ocean in Sonoma County, California. One mile of river runs along this 110 acre part of the ranch offering campers a memorable camping experience.

We will gather in the full hookup section. Sites #122 through #148. Sites F-1 through F-11 are partial hookup sites adjacent to the full hookup sites. Some may want to reserve a beautiful river site too, just a short walk away.

After making your reservation, post your site number and RSVP on this rally thread so I can update our rally attendee site map!

Hi Jeff#2... I just dropped in here to check what the dates are this year... I may be in California visiting friends and could possibility come by... this thread seems kind of scant??? ... am I missing something??? is there another thread??? did the rally move to somewhere else??? just wondering, gail

Hi everyone. I stopped by Casini this weekend and indeed we have been kicked out of 4B and rebooked in 93. We were not called or emailed. Selected river sites are being closed until May. I stopped to see our new site 93 and it was all dug up. Looks like new power and water going in. I'm ready for Olema in 2017. I think the "middle" sites are all ok. Just us river rats are hosed.

Hey Neil.. I tried to wish you a happy Birthday on Facebook... I didn't do it right, didn't work... I'm not good at Facebook... and to thank you and Vinnie for recognizing mine... I'll be coming thru Casini... probably on Saturday... where is Olema, the rally in 2017??? Olema is a small town near Point Reyes National Seashore, one of California's natural treasures. It is worth a trip to California all by itself. http://www.nps.gov/pore/index.htm

Hi there...thanks for the answer... I'm originally from California.. born in SF... moved up here to retire, cause I could afford it!!!

Oregon is a lovely place also... lots of great camping and parks and beaches...

I do come back "home" to visit as often as I can... Plus, I love the Nor Cal AS folks... see you at Casini!!!
