Star cracks (rock chips) in the front shields already...
How common are rock chips in the front windshield covers? On the driver's side I discovered two after towing for about 300 miles. I don't know how common they are, or if my tow vehicle is making it worse by throwing rocks. it has rear tires that extend past the wheel arches... (bad) but the rock chips are really high up... so not sure what's going on.
I wonder about using one of those brushy things attached to the hitch, but it wouldn't help with the really high ones.
Second question... do folks have luck getting those 'repaired' at auto glass places?
Maybe you should add those fender extenders( that follow your wheel well) to your TV to eliminate this before it goes too far. I've never had a rock hit that high or do any damage to the front.

Not common in my experience but I got one on the first trip with our 25’. Mine has a few two inch cracks radiating from it. I stop drilled the cracks and used a syringe to weld them with acetone. It’s been years and they haven’t spread.
