I looked up the packing slip for the aluminum piano hinge. It came from www.rvstuffusa.com Other suppliers offered it in six foot lengths, which involved premium shipping expense. This supplier offered it in a 4 foot length, which was 4 inches more than necessary.

As for making more of them, there are three reasons that probably won't happen. First, the rockguard from VTS is a quality product and I'm sure that when the Hingtgen household settles into its new routine Steve will offer them again. Second, major appliance placement and wiring beckon. Third, the list of deferred honey-do's keeps growing longer. Thanks for the complements though.
