Segment protectors
Hi,
We had a front quarter panel replaced due to the bracket on the segment protector tearing the front of the trailer.
After having a new quarter segment put on the trailer, new brackets on both segment protectors, and 6800 miles we are again having trouble. The segment protector on the replaced side has come undone on the hinge. It appears the factory used metal screws to reattach the hinge to the body. The other protector is coming undone on the small bracket at the end. I was wondering if having the additional brackets on the bottom of the segment protectors has caused the protector to bind and not give when towing. At wits end. Anyone else have this trouble, and what was your solution. Help!!!!!
