Segment protectors

Will the segment protectors from a 2006 international fit a 1973 international? Any input would be very much appreciated.

Hey tjones,
I don't know what segment protectors are or what they protect us from. Please inform.

Hi, segment protectors are on the front of the trailer to protect the lower front/side segments/panels. You never know what is going to be slung onto your trailer.

ROBERTSUNRUS shows low segment protectors. All current-model segment protectors now are about 5-6 inches taller. I'm not sure that the 1994 changeover to wide bodies would have any effect; ergo, rockguards for pano windows work for all models but you have to take some width out of the middle window guard -- How to modify and install rock guard on minuet

In other words, evidently the curve of the R & L segments hasn't changed much. But I still would defer to info from a dealer for which azflycaster has provided a link.

Does anyone know if the newer, taller segment protectors will fit an older non-wide body airstream? We are looking for a set for our 89 Excella.

They will be to tall measure from your rub rail to the bottom of your windows . Out of doors mart has the sizes on their web site . I hope this helps you would want the ones with the blue insert in the rub rail and the banana wraps on the bottom . Les Grace wbcci #14183
