Rock guard frame measurement-66 Safari

I am looking for the outside measurements for the front rock guard frame on a 66 Safari. I do not have a frame but would like to attempt to duplicate the original size to take advantage of the already existing holes from where the old one was. Thanks guys/gals...

Not sure whether 64 and 66 would be the same.
On my 64 it is 46.5" x 24" and made from 1 " alum. angle

Thanks Rick, that sounds a bit wide I think... If you can take another measurement for me I would really appreciate it. On the 66 safari there is still attached to the body the upperstone guard support arm brackets.. I am talking about thebracket that you loosen the screws on both side so you can pull the rock guard up.
So, the rock guard support arms attached to the body are 41 1/2" between the two brackets. Can you possibly get that measurement for me...
BTW the hinge that swings the guard out is 44", so maybe the arms are inside of the frame instead of the outside....hmmm...

It may we;; be the 64 front window was different however the proportion might help

The hinge on top is 42". It is shorter than th guard or window frame.
The brackets the support arms are on are 45.5" center to center.
The window itself including frame is 44.5"

Sounds like your window may be a bit narrower. The arms do attach inside the frame

Thanks Rick hopefully someone with a Safari can furnish their measurements. I suppose I could just make a guard and install things where ever they end up but I would like to keep the original proportions if possible ( and avoid more hole to fill!)
