New problem

ID:	245614Upper bracket for fwd rock guard. Rivets are pulling out and skin is cracked. Something else to fix when I get home.

That photo indicates one or more of the following.

Unbalanced running gear, excessive rated hitch bars, excessive rated tow vehicle.

Installing a small plate over that area and then remounting the bracket using 3/16 pop rivets, will do the job. Make sure you seal the pop rivet heads.

I had the same problem several years ago on my 34'.

I made a circular patch, rotated the rivet holes 45 degrees and used lots of sealant. Tens of thousands of miles later and it's still holding fine. Click image for larger version
