How to clean the stainless steel rock guards?

Just wanted to find out what other forum members are using to clean bugs and road debris off of the stainless rock guards.

I use WD-40 on metal, and a water-wet paper towel 'soaked in place on the area' on areas where scratches would be noticable (plastics).

polish...

This is what I use for the segment protectors, it also works great on the Alcoa wheels. Wal-Mart sells it as well as auto parts stores.

We just cleaned ours the other day with Barkeepers Friend, liquid. They had 5000 miles worth of bugs and some leftover glue from the factory. They look great now - like new. Try it, you'll like it!!

Some rain, a bunch of snow, some little mountain hailstones, and it's all gonnie-gonnie!
