Hold down for Rock Guard

I just got a new rock guard from Inland RV and am lost on the final installation.
Does anyone know how the two rubber hold down thingies attach, specifically where they attach?
I got the whole assembly mounted, and it seems to fit and operate very well. Any answers with pics or without would be appreciated.

Uwe.
Thanks for your call.
Instructions are easy, but it is always wise to ask first.
I trust that you now have it mounted, correctly.

Hi Andy,
Yes. Thanks for the advice.
I mounted the rubber hold down right below the window frame on the vertical rib going from the floor to the bottom of the window, and the small cupped part on the rock guard frame.
I did drill out an extra hole on the small part for an additional rivet, so it can not swivel around under pressure. It had one hoe on thetop and a locator nub on the bottob.
It looks great and opens/closes with ease.
Makes my trailer look mean, like Darth Vader.
From a distance it looks like a huge helmet with the visor down.
OK, enough.

Hi uwe. I also have a trade wind, 1970, that is undergoing restoration. The rock gaurd sounds like a good idea, I threw a rock from my weedeater into the front window, $75 to have it replaced. Any difficulties getting the gaurd, and does it cover the curved windows on the sides of the front? TW

Hi TW,

It does cover the entire front, all three windows. It makes a very nice sun shade when it is raised up.
I am leaving town with the trailer for a few days, will post pics next week.
