Broken Window now I know why I need a Rockguard

So the dusty road in Nebraska scored a direct hit on my street side front curved window on my 72 TW. So now I know why they make a rock guard.
Anybody know where to get a front window?

Andy has 'em at Inland RV. Not a trivial job to replace, but doable. You'll need window, Vulkem & Olympic rivets.

Window broken

Do you replace the frame that has both the inner and outer windows, or just the glass on the outer frame?

The wing windows only come complete with the metal sash (frame) around the glass.

The rivets must be drilled out to replace wing windows.

Not a biggie to do. Instructions are pretty easy.

Rich,

I had the same thing happen a few weeks ago, what have you done? Is your inner pane ok, mine is and I am considering just taking out the broken outter pane and then caulking the void with vulcum.

Let me know what you have done and if it worked for you. someone else must have dealt with this, anyone running with just the inner pane? A new window will just have one pane.

Haven't done anything yet as the inner pane is still there. Probably should at least remove the rest of the broken glass. Andy says they have the single pane replacements so plan to buy one and put in later. I don't know if leaving just the inner pane in place is a good idea, need to check if there would be any leaking around the seals. Figured I'd pay off the credit cards from the trip first and then order the new pane and a rockguard.
