Congratulations on the new airstream. My wife thinks the rear door models are the way to go.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle
Congrats on your new baby.
We have one of the first FB's made. Lucy is a 2005 25FB with the rear hinged door (only about the first 20 were made that way). We've pulled Lucy over 50,000 miles, and have spent almost 450 nights in her. Lucy has been great, you're going to love yours.

Moose,
Lucy still looks fantastic. How is she holding up after all those miles? I think an SOB trailer would be falling apart if it even made it that many miles. Noob question, I know what the numbers are on your trailer but did you paint them on or are they custom made stickers? I intend to join the WBCCI shortly.
Thanks for all the comments everyone.
Brian

Hey Brian,
When you join the WBCCI, you get an info package that comes with the numbers. There will be a set for the front and rear of the trailer.
Welcome to the Forums and to WBCCI.

Congrats on your new Safari. They are really neat! You might find the links below helpful. One is about ground, neutral reversed on my AS supplied shore power cable. The other is about the Sewer Solutions water powered waste dumping system. It makes dumping process easy and a lot cleaner than using the slinky hose. Also included is the Zip Dee Awning operation videa from AS.
I also replaced all my ceiling lights on Safari with LEDs that save energy and spare you the heat. If you are interested there are other posts under electrical repairs/lights. Happy camping!

We looked at your model but we scared off by, what was on that trailer, a flimzy hook that held the door open and bumped against the awning stay. Has this been a problem for you or did AS figure out something else for your trailer. Our 25 FB is the current front hinge.
By the way we Just KAYAKed twin lakes near where we're staying below the collegiate peaks in Colorado. NO MOOSE, just elk.
