New Airstream and Maiden Voyage
I recently got my first Airstream. Loving every minute of it. Decided to live in it due to the fact that I work 6 months out of the year both in San Diego, CA and out on the east end in NY. Had a small audio problem that was fixed at the dealer in NJ but other than that its been smooth sailing. My first trip was a little hairy as I neared the Brooklyn Bridge. My Airstream does not like on ramps in that area. I also enjoyed taking up both lanes on the Gothels Bridge due to the fact that I was convinced I would tear the siding off of her, lol. Made it to the beach in DE in one piece. Was great practice for me and is a lot harder than pulling it out to the desert when I am in CA. Airstream has a place for everything which means it is organization friendly which seems to be very compatible with my OCD, lol. Hello to all my fellow Streamers. Silver Saint has arrived
Welcome to the forum!
Check in often if you have any questions or need advice.
And post some pictures of your bauxite beauty!
BTW, now that you are an experienced 'bridger', you need to take a trip to Michigan and give the Mackinac Bridge a try - it was white knuckles for me all the way, but easier on the way back!

Silver Saint,
Welcome aboard! It sounds like you will get a lot of cross country trips in, even though it is for work, it would still be cool to go coast to coast with an Airstream in tow, seeing all the wide canvas that is America.
Our New York experience was on the Cross Bronx Expressway during rush hour a few years ago. I was pretty calm because the speeds were slow, but my wife was a wreck,
Just remember to keep the shiny side up.
