need interior photos of '25 FB

I thought I'd start a new thread for simplicity's sake.

Storage in the new 25' FB is waaaayyy different than in my '77. I need to plan for where stuff goes but I can't remember exactly where all the drawers are. I looked thru the photo archives and didn't find anything. Does anyone have interior photos of their camper that show all the drawers/cabinets?

Dave and I need to seriously divest of some stuff......

Thanks,
Pam

Hi Pam,

I don't have any pictures - but I agree with rickandsandi - look at colonial's website, they have lots of pictures. One thing to keep in mind, the bottom doors in the kitchen are not drawers but cubbies, and are not deep by any means. Under the stove, I keep foil, wrap, sandwich bags, in another I keep extra flashlights (Our son goes through lots of flashlights - I haven't figured that one out yet) Under the fridge, I keep skinny canned goods. All the other drawers are way to deep to just be a silverware drawer. My solution was to put a couple of desk organizers in one to elevate the silverware tray - then I store things under that I don't use a lot but like to have on board anyway. For me, pots and pans go under the sofa - I didn't want heavy things slamming into the plumbing under the sink while we were travelling - so plastic ware and paper towels and the like go under there. The closet is only 16 inches wide. I hung a shoe bag in there - but after our 3 week trip I have decided this is a major waste of space and am looking for a new solution for the shoe dilemma. Hope this helps - have fun planning.

There's only one small outside storage compartments on a queen bed 25' FB. The twin bed model has two more -- wide door & 4+ foot length at front; small door and 4' length under the roadside twin. These are great places for folding chairs, awning mat, broom, hoses, etc, etc.

I keep extra shoes & less used items in the storage under the dinette bench in the roadside back corner.

Here you go.Click for larger.Queen bed model, the twin model would have front outdoor storage rather than side storage.

wow!

Carol -
Thank you SO MUCH! I'm especially excited about the pics of the insides of drawers and cubbies - that helps tremendously. I'll print out some of the photos I need and Dave and I can start sorting (and pitching!).

Thanks again!
Pam

Thanks, Pam and Carol!

Thanks Pam, for starting this thread and thanks to Carol for the pictures!

We pick up our new 25' FB this week-end. I have the pictures from Colonial's web site, which are very nice, but they are nothing like Carol's. We bought sight unseen, so I haven't even taken any pictures of it.

Thanks again!
Pat

yea!

Pat,
I'm excited that you get your camper this weekend (and I'm jealous!). How long have you waited? Is your shakedown cruise this weekend? Take lots of pictures and let us know how fabulous it is!

Since today is only Tuesday, you have time to use Carol's pictures to get organized.

Have fun!!
Pam

Pam, I have NO patience! We always buy off the lot. We leave tomorrow for NJ-already have all the pictures ready to go. We drove to Ohio to get the 23' we have now. I have never travelled the East coast from Savannah North to Washington, DC, so am looking forward to the trip.

it's a beautiful drive

Pat,

I've never driven the portion from FL to SC, but the drive from Savannah thru North Carolina and Virginia is undoubtedly the prettiest anywhere. From swampy low-country all the way to the tops of the mountains. Lots of vistas and lots of curvy roads for your driving pleasure (my favorite is I-40 West from Asheville to Knoxville - 60 miles over downhill switchbacks). And it should get cooler as you head north; that's got to be a bonus!

Patience isn't my virtue, either, but school starts next week (I'm a teacher), so I'll have plenty to occupy my time until the camper gets here.

Have a safe trip home and enjoy the ride.

Pam, we are home!

Pam, the 25' FB Airstream is everything the pictures show and more! We picked it up last Friday from Colonial AS in NJ. A great place to buy and the AS was totally checked out and working when we got there.

We have the twin beds. The storage is ample for us, and we love the floor plan. The kitcken is sufficent, but would prefer the microwave/convection oven to the conventional oven we have. That would be the main (only?) change we would make if we had special ordered it.

Time is passing, so your AS will be home soon, for you too! It is really a beautiful thing!!
