Dome hand crank

the hand crank desintegrated,colonial A.Str can not find me a replacement,Comfort air does not sell parts....can not open or close fan..a good thing its in closed position..any ideas anyone??can not glue it back together....does not hold...???

replying to myself...for now i am using a wrench to open and close the fan...giving up all hope to find the hand crank...lots of you looked at the post..no one suggested anything!!!!

Which trailer are you having the problem on?

If the 1990 I had my crank handle fail and Airstream told me they NEVER installed the crank, I did.

If the 1990 you can take the crank apart, drill out the rivets, and turn the gear 120 degrees and it will work.

i have a 2008 safari sport...looks different from your photo...for now i use a socket wrench to open and close the fan,it works fine,i am still hoping to eventually find a handle....thank you very much for your input...M.V.

By your model year Airstream no longer used proprietary vents so you should be able to find the handle, or at least the maker, at any large RV store.
