Where can I buy new wheels?

I have 15" steel wheels and want to purchase new wheels. We are getting our trailer stripped and polished in February and would like new wheels. Yes we can clean these up but we are full-timers do not want to be without our wheels.

thanks for any help!

Unless there is something unusual about your wheels, I think any half-decent tire shop should be able to fix you up with wheels having the property load capacity, dimensions, bolt circle, offset, etc. (offset on ours is "Zero," not sure if all Airstreams are the same.)

When we changed our 15 wheels to 16" a few years ago in order to switch to the Michelin LT tires, I just dealt with a local tire shop - they showed me catalogues of many aluminum rim styles at very reasonable prices and got the ones I selected for me in just a couple of days. We've had them about three years now, they look and perform great.

I replaced the 15" Airstream wheels and tires with Sendel T03-66655T 16" wheels and Michelin LT tires 3 years ago. These wheels and tires are the same ones Airstream now puts on some of their higher end trailers. Since that time I have pulled the Airstream over 35,000 miles and expect to go another 15,000 before replacing the tires. I do not worry about blow outs which I previously experienced with the original 15" Good Year Marathon tires.

I have 4 15" wheels that I removed from my 30' Excella. Willing to sell. They are in perfect condition. Alcoa aluminum wheels.

We and fellow NorCal clubbers have a go to "Airstream whisperer", Vinnie. You can call or email him with questions and he's happy to help you out. He takes ownership of your AS issues-repair, maintenance, renovation. Give him a ring if you like.

I also have 15” wheels I’d like to pass on - 4 aluminum original stock wheels from my 2015 international 25, plus the steel 15” spare. The tires are 3 years old, so not much (if any) time left for them, wheels are in very good shape. Definitely interested in getting them to another Airstream.

'48 rims

I was really hoping to find something other than white spoked rims. I know beggars can't be choosers, but I think they'd look kinda cheap...

Likely you can find plain steel wheels of the size you want. Just make sure the wheel you find has the load capacity or weight rating. 2500 pounds or greater would be the place I would want to see.

Your options for sourcing are many and varied when you are equipped with the specifications for your Airstream wheels, as follows:
  • 15" X 6"
  • 6-Lugs on 5.5" Centers
  • 4.25" Cemter Bore
  • Zero Offset
  • 2,600 Pound Minimum Weight Carrying Rating
