Need a spare to carry this Fall, would like it to the the same the factory ones - easy to get? Where?

Do you have the alcoa mags or steel wheels? Mags are on Ebay from time time,but none right now,I have also seen them here on clasified section.
Post a picture and someone may have one.New ones are not the same.I just carry a steel wheel for spare,don`t worry to much about looks after blowing a tire.Dave

No not easy to get them. You did not say which Argosy you have, size, type, single or dual axle? Try to find a 15" 6x5.5 new rim, make sure it has a weight rating of at least 2400lbs, that would take care of just about any model Arogosy. You can find them from many sources on the internet. Just Google "Trailer Wheels"

This is a 1977 Argosy 24T with tandem axles and steel wheels. I prefer steel wheels to alloy. Of course I can buy a 'similar' wheel, but I would prefer that all the wheels on the pavement be the same, and wear the same tires.
I will talk to my Airstream dealer - I'll be in there for a new rock guard on Thursday.
