I'll beg forgiveness up front.
I have very specific questions about the rims for the purpose of mounting metal stems.
Rims: 2017-2018 Sendel Airstream rims.
1. Is the hole diameter .453?
2. I see the rims have a machined countersunk area. Will stems with the nut on the
outside fit down into that area? Can you get a socket in there? (see sample picture).
3. Pictures of the stem show it sticking out at an angle. If the stem is too long, it increases the chance of a TPMS being damaged on a curb, etc. How long is the minimum that's practical?
4. I hate when the ad says, "Chrome plated". Chrome over what? Brass, steel, krypton? What's the metal in the TST TPMS? (I'd rather avoid brass, because it's soft, but???)
