Original Aluminum Wheels

Anyone got one (1) of either of these you might want to sell? I've got two of the slotted type and three of the 8-hole type. Looking to dress up both the Caravel and the Overlander. I'lll take one of each!

If you go with the 8-hole ones, I REALLY need a center cap for the 5-slot wheel!

In preparation for WMARSHA's wheels, I thought I'd see how spiffy these old rims could look. I don't know which I prefer, but now that I've gotten started, I guess I'll have at least 4 shiney things on the Overlander. As you can see, I really hate getting all that black polishing residue all over me...

As you can see, unpolished wheel looks very uniformly gray. As I was polishing, however, I discovered lots of dark corrosion spots as the top layer of oxidation was removed. I would say it took about 45 minutes per wheel to get them to where they look good at 10 feet. To get them to 3 feet would take another hour. I was using the red polishing bar (that LEVON uses) and a wool polishing bonnet.

Is it going to be a problem finding center caps for these wheels?

OK, I've looked all over the web and can't find any place to search using the center hole diameter. All searches are by make and model--Ha! Anyone know how to find these rascals?

I think I saw a couple of the center caps the last time I was at Oasis RV in Tucson.

No 3.75" caps. They go from 3.3" to 4"+ and skip right over the size I (we) need.
