Can anyone help me with what rim/tire combo would work best on a 1971 27' Airstream Overlander International. Can I purchase 15x7 centerline rims with ST 225/75 R15 tires as a good combination?
I am new and would appreciate any advice...thank you
I can not comment on the older rim offset but what I would suggest is take one of your current rims into any tire store that sell aftermarket rims and ask them to measure the offset.

I could be wrong, but I believe they are zero offset. I know the backspacing is 4 inches. I just installed a set of standard 6-lug alloy trailer wheels with 225/75/15 tires that I purchased through a local utility trailer dealership on my '69. The tire size is perfect.

Don't know if it helps, but the offset on the newer trailers is 0. I just purchased a set of aluminum whees from Aluminum Trailer Wheels these folks, I found them very helpful and I'll bet they would know the answer, I think they work a lot with Airstream owners.
