El Rey rims

I need to replace the old split rims on a 1957 El Rey 24ft single axel. Where do I go in Dallas Texas to buy 2 6 bolt pattern rims. ch tire store asks me if it is for Ford or Chevy. Thanks for any help.

WE have a Redneck Trailer supply here in town. It's the first place I look for general trailer and towing stuff. Great selection, good prices, and helpful friendly people.

Redneck ROCKS!!!! I use them a great deal. You will need to determine if that is 6 on 5.5" or 6 on 6" however. I think it is the first...

It would not surprise me if El Rey's use the same rims as Airstreams as they are a knock off anyway. If I remember right the Airstream rims are 6 bolt 5 1/2 on center 0 offset rim. Which is the same as a Chevy or Jeep rim.

Can you post some photos of your El Rey? I know Marshal used the term knock off, but my experience is that the El Reys were made with a totally different level of quality. I would love to see some photos.

In this case "knock off" does not mean bad. They are quite collectable.
