The issue is Dexter is no longer making the Never Lube bearings so they priced a set for four wheels on our 2014 Classic at over $800. We will be upgrading the axles soon to include a 3" lift bracket factory installed along with the Dexter dual piston caliper disc brakes. As soon as the new axles arrive, the Dexter installed bearings will be replaced with "made in the USA" Timken bearings.

Info from Dexter re: Nev-R-Lube service life.

https://www.dexteraxle.com/docs/defa...rsn=fedb1548_6

And for replacement parts bearing Nev-R-Lube availability this thread recently discussed this question. In particular posts 10 and 36 answered by Terry an Airstream Tech at OofDM and 33 by Milo1952 with a response from Dexter.

And this cartridge bearing fits many pass cars and is avail off the shelf from several suppliers here is the Timken online catalog, use the Part Number search box, enter SET49 if you select Buyers Guide you'll see the range of pass cars this actually is used on. Bearing replacement does require a shop press or a special bearing tool set that uses a heavy threaded rod as the force to pull it out and pull it in to R&R.

FWIW, Showmetheparts is a popular behind the scenes automotive aftermarket catalog system.

And for a deeper look at this bearing design, it known by Timken as a type TDO https://www.timken.com/products/timk...le-outer-race/
