I am collecting the trailer on Saturday. The owners son is selling it for his mum but is not interested in helping out with prepping the trailer and is not going to be available for handover. The mum has no clue about the trailer (she lost her husband last year)
I will need to repack the bearings (at least) but my dilemma is that this is in a pretty remote area and the closest NAPA is a couple of hours drive.
I believe the axles are original.
Can anyone supply the (best guess) bearing/seal part number so I can get them from my local Commercial Bearing or NAPA (I have accounts and can return unused no problem) Any other things to be concerned about with this? They were re-packed 2 years ago but it has not moved since then.
Getting down to the wire now. I am spending Friday making the journey, Saturday prepping and Sunday for the return.
I hope it's worth it.

Just a wild guess based on what my '05 takes and Inland RV catalog. Assuming 12X2 brake drums.
Inner bearing 25580
Seal 10-36

Outer bearing could be several, and they use different races: 15123 for the heavier axles, or LM67048 for the 5200 lb axles. I would not interchange the different bearings without changing the races.

I would trust someone with experience with your model or vintage long before this post, but it may give you something to google or start with.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will go with it for lack of any other information. I appreciate it. I got back in touch with the sellers son today and he assures me I will not need to replace the bearings, or indeed repack them. It has not been pulled for close to two years so I am sure they will need re-packing.

Hi, if they have documents showing that a shop did the repack two years ago, I would tow it home as is; And check it for yourself after. I would be more concerned with the condition of the tires.
