67 Caravelle Wheel Size 5 lug???

Hi,

After reading the forums (maybe I missed something) I expected to see 6 lug 15x6 rims on my 67 Caravelle. The shop found one bent so I am looking for a replacement. However, the shop informs me that the rims on the trailer are 15x5 and 5 lug with backspace of 3 3/4".

Did the factory use 5 lugs on Caravelles in 67?

What's up?

In these pictures of another 67 Caravel, it has 5 lugs as well.

The back space or off set on your wheels is "NOT" what you listed, or were told.

The offset is "zero" inches.

The width is 6 inches.

The 5 lug 15 inch wheel is correct.

They are readily available.

Not to steal the tread but I need to know the wheel size and lug pattern for a 59 22 foot safari.

My Ohio made '67 Caravel has a 5 lug 4.5" pattern on a 15" rim.

Commonly available replacement wheels have zero offset.

By personal experience, I find it very easy to believe your original wheels have an offset.
