WDH spring bar Grease Caps

Here is a quick solution to covering the greasy end of spring bars. When the bars are not in use it's inevitable that you will find that grease on your clothing or if the bars end up on the ground.....well here is help for those without the bar holders on the tongue. Credit is due to an SOB contributer to Trailer Life's 10 Minute Tech page. Just some 1 1/2" PVC with 4 caps.

And..

And I should have added that a pop riveted hook in in the center of each cap to hold a small bungy to keep the caps on the tubes was suggested. However, mine has enough friction between the caps and tubes I don't find a bungy necessary.
