Warning for those looking at HUSKY CENTER LINE TS 32216

This hitch will not fit on a Bambi 19 frame.

The Frame height is 3 inches.

This hitch must have a 4 inch frame size or bigger.

There is absolutely NO indication of this either on husky's website or the amazon listing that I purchased mine from.

The only way I knew, was when I got it, and the manual said "WARNING THIS HITCH MUST BE USED ON 4 5 6 7 8" FRAME SIZES... on the front.

This was a surprise because nowhere did it say this online

https://www.huskytow.com/product/husky-centerline-ts/

It cost me 85$ to send it back. I was dissapointed because this hitch was extremely well built and I wanted to use it.

Bambi 19 as in the Flying Could 19'? Only has a 3" tall frame? If that's what you mean it's surprising since Our FC20 has a 5" frame and only 500 lbs more GVWR.

Yessir. 3 inches.

So this limits the hitch options somewhat and makes that Centerline TS hitch useless because it requires a 4 inch frame.

I had TS 32215 on my 16’ Bambi Sport - recommended by the Airstream dealer. We have since upgraded to a 19’ Flying Cloud and transferred the Husky to it. I looked at the manual that came with that set up and it does not have that warning. I may have to contact them and see what the story is.

Well remember, it is a different hitch model # on yours.

The warning on the model I had was on the front cover of the installation manual.

Did you consider a 1" spacer the width of the frame ?

No, I did not.

Husky said that hitch was not compatible.

And just for clarity, we're talking the height. The place where the bolts come into contact with the top and bottom of the frame rails.
