Trailer RVR Valet

Does anyone have the Trailer Valet RVR5 or similar model? I am trying to get my trailer into my garage. it will need to go into a tight spot. It appears this trailer Valet is just what I need to maneuver into place. Just wanted to get some feed back before I put out the money. It is an investment but cheaper than building another building.
My Garage is a three bay with enough Clarence. My truck would not be able to move it into the corner like I need it to.
Thanks

Stacy

A front hitch on your truck will enable much more maneuverability than a rear hitch. They also cost a lot less. That is the simple alternative. Without more information on what your exact situation is, it will be hard for posters to help much.

Hi

It probably would help if we knew what AS trailer you have. Since there is a *very* large range of trailer and tongue weights, some really are not going to work with this or that model.

I have the manual XL and it works great with my 16. Slow but great. If you don’t have far to go I’d consider this.

I have a 1974 27’ Overlander. My garage is N oversized 3 bay with two oversized doors. The garage is 20 deep by 40 wide. I need to move the trailer in through one side and move it to the opposite side. Once inside I believe the trailer will sit kitty corner across two bays , leaving room for my truck in the third bay.

The 5 is limited to 550 tongue weight. I would think you need the 9 but I don’t know your tongue weight.
Honestly the remote units look really neat but unless you have some physical limitations I think the XL and a good drill or just using it manually would be fine for you application.
If your on a flat surface it’s very easy to move by hand cranking and allows you lots of control. It doesn’t sound like you have far to go.
