Thoughts on Hitch Helpers

I was watching that silly Lucille Ball movie the other night about trailers and I noticed that the salesman sold Ricky a hitch for this Mercury Monterey that had a pair of helper wheels to take some tongue weight off the car.

So I looked it up today and there is a company in Florida that makes these things, from lightweight up to 4K tongue weight and 25k tow weight, plus you can get one with a motorcycle carrier on it.

Anyone ever use one of these?

Great timing.
I found this a couple months ago, when trying to figure out how to put a 400lb motorcycle on my 200 lb tongue weight hitch.

Emailed them my question - In that I had not seen an application for a motorhome. No response.

I'm guessing a lack of response indicates they can't provide something for this application. If you discover elsewise, please post back.

I saw one of those behind a tri axle 5th wheel. It had a Harley Electraglide on it. It was bouncing like a rubber ball.
