Shocker HD Hitch & GMC 3500: Tailgate?

Anyone with a Shocker HD (w/o WD) mounted on a GMC 3500 with Multi-tailgate?

If so, can you lower the tailgate when hooked up to your Airstream?

It’s 9 & 1/4 from outside edge of my 3inch receiver to center of ball.
I will see if I need to turn my jack to the side?

I have a 2016 GMC 2500 with a standard tailgate, using the 12k shocker w/o wt distributing hitch, and it opens fine. But I have the raised mount ball, so it may project a little further out than the standard ball.Attachment 453581
