Seal Part #'s for Hensley

Have taken my Hensley apart for repainting and need to replace the seals has any one else allready done this and have seal part #'s . Hensley claims no part numbers to supply and not really set up for selling them but they would. Faster and cheaper locally I would guess. Tech service at first said disassembly possible and then when I asked if there are preload torque specs they started to discourage me from attempting disassembly. The hitch is now in pieces on the floor awaiting cleaning and painting. I felt disassembly was straight forward and I am comfertable enough with bearings that this will be no problem to reassemble . Hope my paint job lasts/works better than the factories.

Seals

If you have a good accurate dial caliper(machinists or reloading), measure the inside diameter of the hole the seal drives into, the outside diameter of the rotating shaft and the thickness of the seal. Take that information and an old seal to a good bearing and seal place such as Applied Industrial Technologies and they can match it up.
If the bearings are tapered roller bearings like in your trailer wheels the preload should be the same. It is for the front end of a 1936 Cord 810.
