Round bars or square

The round bar hitches ride smoother than the square "trunion" bars.

Is this true? I would think a round or square of 600# would ride the same.

Hi, I have driven many cars and trucks as a new car dealer employee since 1968; And have owned vehicles with:

(1.) Leaf springs.
(2.) Coil springs.
(3.) Torsion bars.
(4.) Air bags.

Springs are springs and if you didn't crawl under the vehicle [and for some, if you did] you wouldn't know the difference.
