Reese WD Drop Dims.

Can someone please help me pick the right size drop for the shank I will need?

top of TV hitch is 23"
top of 2" ball is 19" or top of ball mount is 16"

Thanks for your help

How I did it....

With the trailer dead level, back TV up to the tongue and measure from the top of the ball mount to the base of the receiver mount.

On our Burb I allowed for about an inch of drop when loaded.

Indy,
You will probably find that an 8in drop is easier to find than a 7, which is ok because of the loading factor, you can level with the WD bars.

A level trailer is VERY important while towing.

I spent time on this site:

"Weight Distributing Hitch's will improve your trailer sway, weight distribution, and lower stress for trailer safety, Equalizer weight distributing hitch."

Reese has a toll free number and the guy I talked to there was a good help too.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
