Proven Lock for 2022 Hitch

Public Service Announcement:

The Proven Lock that fit on our 2020 Airstream does not fit on our 2022 Airstream. I talked to Proven Lock today and they have a model that fits the 2022 Demco hitch. Their order form for Airstream locks now includes a year drop down box. The problem is the drop down shows “2020 and newer” and that includes 2 different lock models.

I called and talked to Erica in Support before I ordered. She made a note of the year (2022) to add to my order so they send the right model.

Anyone interested in a used Proven Lock for a 2020 Airstream?

For the 2022 hitch, Did the lock model turn out to be 2516-AS?
We just picked up a 22 Intl and didn’t want to order the 2020 or newer lock from Proven if it was in fact different like you experienced. Many thanks!

I talked to Erica at Proven Lock when I ordered. She said use the model number you referenced and specify the Airstream is a 2022 model. She told me to add a note to the order.

I've been to their facility just south of Tampa Bay. It's a small operation with it looks like about four people. Everyone was helpful so I'm pretty confident your note won't be lost in the bureaucracy.
I stopped by to pick up a lock rather than have it shipped.
