I'm sure sway control is reduced some.
There is still plenty friction, just less.
Consider the angle of the hitch head and height of ball and L-brackets.
I have maybe 6 washers in my hitch head.
Plenty of friction going on even with the nylon Sway Bracket Jackets.
Tundra pulling 30' Classic feels sure footed and I only notice 18 wheelers if they are going waaay faster than me- like 75-80 mph. If an 18 wheeler comes around me at 65-70 mph I feel nothing. Wind has no effect. You know the wind is blowing. You see the trees and grass waving, but you feel nothing. You hear the wind- whoosh, whoosh- but feel nothing.
Tundra, Equal-i-zer, and Airstream feel more securely planted/firm than any Class A, B, or C motorhome I have ever driven and feels better than our previous tall white box
trailer.
I can only imagine what a ProPride or Hensley would feel like... How much better could it get?
The EazLift I had before the Equal-i-zer did a wonderful job, too- just more steps to couple, uncouple, turn tight, or reverse.
