New hitch needed. Help

We’ve spent hours reading this forum about what hitch might work best but are still confused. We rescently purchased an AS 25’ FB and love it. We have two different tow vehicles. A 2106 Ford F-250 Desiel and a 2017 Ford Expedition both with HD tow packages. We would like one hitch that will work with both. We had an Equalizer hitch on our older smaller trailer and liked it. We are not adverse to spending more for a Hensley or Pro Pride if need be. We are both competent drivers but me (wife) does not like any sway and drive 75%. We are thinking anoit buying another Equalizer just because we are familiar but that doesn’t seem like the best reasoning. Any ideas or advice is appreciated.

You have two of the best, most stable tow vehicles out there. Just about any competent hitch will do. There's no need for PPP type hitch like Hensley or Propride. If you enjoy way overkill, you can't go wrong with those either.

Likewise, the 25FB is likely easily handled by your tow vehicles. For that reason, hitch selection again is not hugely critical. You don't need large amounts of WD tension in your rig. As always, dialing in the hitch setup is likely more important than the particular hitch.

The Equalizer would do a great job. So would a lightweight Anderson hitch. Just as likely, anything in between would do great.

Some of the often talked about hitches on the boards are the Blue-Ox, Husky round bar, and Eaz-Lift. Some pro and cons to each. Ease of setup is probably the most important to you.
