MORryde EzStor Lite Hitch Rack

I recently watched a YouTube video showing a MORryde EzStor Lite Hitch Rack for travel trailers and thought I'd order one to try it. Got it today and it works perfectly on my FC 30RB. The rack is built from heavy gauge steel, is very sturdy with what appears to be a powder coat finish. The hitch is stored off of the ground and the bars tuck in nicely below the hitch. I'm an instant fan! A photo is attached.

Thanks for posting, looks like an interesting solution.

Is your hitch a 2” or 2 1/2”? Mine is 2 1/2 and about 90#. It’s a bear to move and I don’t know if I could flip it up to that position alone!

Also, how close is that chain attachment wing to the front of your trailer? It looks pretty close in the picture but maybe that is an illusion.

The hitch has a two inch pin and weighs 38 lbs. From the center of the snap up brackets to the center of the coupler is 30". The chains on the snap up brackets hang vertically when the bars are installed. I should have stated that I purchased this hanger and I have no affiliation with MORryde.

MIFC, if you’re interested in a mount that’s horizontal, I made one from a CURT 2.5” receiver tube, some threaded rod and four plates. Works for our Blue Ox unit.

+1 I would never use this type of bracket near the front. One slip and you have a $1000 repair bill. I just set mine on the ground, sometimes on a 2x4. I dont see what the point of all this hitch storage-on-frame, but each to their own.

Like you, I just set my BO hitch next to the A-frame, on the ground or on a 2x8x12" iron wood piece I have. Lay the Sway Bars on the power jack foot block I use also under the A frame, to avoid anyone tripping. I have the "receiver" type hitch storage device shown in the picture, but never used. Decided it looked like a "shin" hazzard with my bumbling around the A frame while camped, so didn't think I would use it....and I havn't.

When in storage, I use the wood piece mentioned above, inside the door, with the hitch on it, and the sway bars laying next. All this on top of a mat we use when camping to wipe your feet prior to entry.
