Hitch weight

I know, I know go weigh it but never take route that comes close to truck stop stations so ..... Sport 16 says hitch weight is 350 “dry”. So if I add 2 20# filled propane tanks, and if water tank is filled and I weigh my equalizer that should give me tongue weight, yes?

You can weigh it with a bathroom scale, a fulcrum, and some high school math.

Food, clothing, tools, and miscellaneous furnishings can add up to surprising numbers.

Another weighing alternative is moving and storage companies. Mine has a single platform scale, so I weigh TV front axle, both TV axles, and trailer axles. Subtract frotn from both to get rear. I have weighed at Escapees Smartweigh, CAT scales, and the moving company. All weighings were within reasonable tolerances of each other.
