I bought a Hensley cub used for $500 intending to use it on my
1968 Airstream Safari. My Safari has a 2 inch coupler, which is what the Cub was supposed to have. I recently unwrapped the Cub and found that it has a 2 5/16 inch ball on it. My options seem to be either change the coupler to a 2 5/16" one, cut off the ball from the Hensley and have a 2 inch ball welded on, or sell the Cub and buy another one with a 2 inch ball. The problem with the last is that I got a pretty good deal on the Cub and I don't know how long I'd have to search to find another. Also, I can't seem to find a new 2 5/16 inch coupler that's the same as the original,it welds onfrom underneath.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
