I like the idea of reducing the friction between the TV and AS. One post mentioned the Air Safe--very effective, big, costly, and requires adjusting the air pressure in the air bag.
The Gen-Y Torsion Hitch uses the similar technology as AS torsion shocks. It is also big but basically maintenance free.
Both are big and move the connection further back from the TV (increasing impact of tongue weight.
Gen-Y reps have been very responsive on email questions.
