Fascinating sway demonstration!
This was posted to the Twitter account of the Ontario Police Commercial Vehicle Committee. Fascinating to watch...

Oops! I searched but didn't see that.
Still, it is a good demonstration!

TW matters.
But what is missed not only by SAE in J2807 and in a demo like this is the wind resistance and sail area of a travel trailer.

Interesting. The trailer is not pushing on the truck when it happens . just. Unstable due to loading. No way you would have time to apply just trailer brakes if that would even help.

An equalizer hitch is nothing but a bandage for not having the correct tow vehicle!

I think you may have this backwards. A larger/heavier tow vehicle is actually a bandage for an incorrectly set up hitch.

Ignorance is not a barrier to learning
But lack of open mindedness will be.

Love the video.
I got to see it in real life, following some guy pulling a boat trailer.
It started oscillating, and got worse and worse.
The boat was 90 degrees to the car, then was dragging the car sideways until it went off the road and crashed.
I suspect he had a negative tongue weight.
