Complete neophyte to everything

I have never posted on a forum and don't even if I am right now. But I used to have a 40' 5th wheel 25 years ago and have recently purchased a pristine 31 foot 84 Excella. I am trying to find information on what I will need to do to my truck in order to tow it home to Michigan from Ohio

Looks like it worked. I don't know my RAM from my ROM but we will figure this out eventually. And I have several other questions as well. Any response will be appreciated.

Well, welcome aboard! While you're waiting for everyone to chime in and answer you, use the "search" function and type in "recovery mission" and you'll see the experiences of others - what to take with you, questions to ask before you go, and so on. Good luck - sounds like you have a great new trailer!

i have solved the hitch problem. Now I am in need of a new furnace for our 1984 31' Excella. Any recommendations? I would rather spend the $ money and do it right the first time so if you can direct me in the right direction I would be grateful

If I were in Ohio I would head for the Mothership in Jackson Center Ohio and have them inspect you unit and replace your furnace.

AIRSTREAM INC.

P.O. Box 629
Jackson Center, OH 45334-0629

Phone: 877-596-6111

Call and speak to their service department, they are always the first choice.

Check the date codes on the tires before you go down the road.

BTW welcome to the Forum, post some pictures please.

Dear Rivet Master,
You sound like the kind of guy I would like to talk to. Is it possible to call you on the phone? Or may be send me an email at tamerlane1957@hotmail.com. I don't know if that is crossing the line or not but I am so out of my league with this forum stuff I am going bonkers. I am hoping this message even gets to you
