Changes to Our Hensley
Hi Team,
After sufferreing a failrure, our 20 year old Hensley was sent back to be rebuilt.
They promptly rebuilt it and returned it to us.
One item I noticed was the weighted cog (on the Black part) that, with no stinger in, rotates up into a slot on the orange part was not reinstalled. It would fix the black part in place for backing the stinger into the hitch.
So I sent Hensley off an email, thinkking they forgot to put it in. They promptly replied with a phone call. They said, as of a few years ago, they no longer install this part. They said it was making any off angle hookup more difficult.
Now the head is free to move as you back the stinger in. Did not seem to be any harder than with the locking piece in place.
Thought it interesting and passing it on FYSA.
