Blue Ox hitch system

Does anyone have any practical experience with the Blue Ox hitch?

If you do a forum search on Blue Ox it turns up several threads, but they are a few years old.

Hi Mike,

My son has one on a SOB trailer, and he likes it quite a bit. In fact, the trailer dealer set it up incorrectly, which caused the bars to get bent. My son called Blue Ox, and they not only replaced the bars without any hesitation, but once the new bars arrived, they talked him through the correct set up process. He's had it 3 years now with no further problems.

Current user of the Sway Pro - Blue Ox Hitch

Hey Mike,

I currently tow a 2006 Classic 25' airstream, with the Blue Ox - Sway Pro.
My hitch weight is close to 900 lbs according to the airstream sticker for unloaded weight. I have read many opinions from contributors (many of which don't use this product), but I decided about a year and a half ago to have it installed by J. D. Sanders Airstream in Fla, after a very unsatisfactory experience with an e-qual-i-zer hitch. I full-time in the Classic, so it's not lightly loaded. I pull it with an '06 F-250 diesel short bed two wheel drive. I have towed it up and down the length of Fla, Ala, Ms, up thru the mountains to Western NY and back twice . I have had nothing but satisfactory experiences with the hitch. I've towed over all kinds of roads and have always felt secure and the trailer experienced no sway. I'd recommend this hitch to a friend. I hope that this 'first hand' response is of some help.
